Moving on up

I found this article on Twitter about moving. The Frisky.com is reading my mind.

Since I have announced that I will be leaving work to move to Atlanta, I've been slightly preoccupied with the logistics of the situation, not only for the physical move but for the repercussions on my relationship. No stranger to the live-in girlfriend, my current bf is very excited and can't wait to finally be over with the long-distance phone calls and once-a-month visits. I however, have a slightly more serious outlook. My job, health insurance, switching residency, all kind of a big deal and not exactly a walk in the park to arrange.

The stress of moving isn't bothering me; I don't have too much stuff to begin with. I do have an emergency backup plan, enough in savings, and no problems with being alone. I'm covered as far as the "insurance" of the situation. I love my bf very much, and in between vacation ideas and choosing paint colors for "our apt", I have the time to make a seamless transition. I have recipe ideas and furniture layouts and storage organizers randomly floating in my head. So all that's left is to jump in...
