Travel Tuesday - Riviera Maya

The BF and I are really bad about taking vacations, especially vacations for just the two of us (no family, no other couples). We know we need them. We have the time available for them. But, I think we guilt trip ourselves for going on trips, mostly because we know we need to be saving money for some something or other.

As a way to balance this dilemma, we're starting to plan a trip for next Summer, fairly close and not too long. As much as I'd love to take a 10-day tour of Italy, we can only take baby steps (literally) at this point.

So, drawing a 4-5 hour flight radius around Atlanta, that lands us in either Mexico or the Caribbean for about 3-4 nights, the longest I can stay at one destination without getting bored. A couple hours later, during a bout of midnight semi-insomnia, here's what I found:

Yes, it's expensive. Yes, it's all-inclusive. Yes, it's sold out for almost the entirety of next year.
I want it.
The best part? No Spring Breakers, and it's not Sandals.
