In that spirit, the 2011 Resolutions need to stack up to last year or we might be a little disappointed.
1) Complete a Triathlon (*Note to self: Get a bike.)
2) Complete a Half-marathon.
There are a number of smaller races leading up a November half marathon. Makes putting training off impossible. Including the 2011 Warrior Dash!
3) Read every night for at least 20 minutes.
In tandem, join the local library. It's so easy, especially for us, anti-e-reader people.
4) Once a week, try a new recipe.
This week was Spicy Tuna Fish Tacos with Broccoli slaw.
5) Keep a workout calendar.
Mine is kept in an Andy Warhol calendar. Nothing like social sarcasm to make your day.
6) Complete the 365Atlanta 2011 Bucket list.
I think my personal 2011 restaurant list is better, though.
7) Write to the Grandparents once a month.
8) Start saving for Bali, which is now pushed back to 2013.
With one week down, I'm doing pretty well so far. Events are being penned into the calendar, so at least things are happening. Never quiet, except for when I want them to be...
